OVERVIEW

This course will be an introduction to understanding the opportunity and clinical protocols in anticipation of therapeutics for presbyopia. You will learn about the theories of presbyopia, risk factors, and various corrective options ranging from spectacles to surgical. You’ll then be introduced to the various treatment approaches and which patients are likely to do well with these medications.

This activity is intended for optometrists who provide primary care optometry services, including but not limited to medical optometric services.
